The Parsep Steel Belt Filter (SBF) is a filter designed to filter easy dewater-able product such as coarse minerals, resin, crystalline product or flocculated sludge.
Dewatering takes place on an endless woven steel or polyester belt supported on high open area HDPE slides, mounted on top of vacuum chutes.
The vacuum can be created by Vacuum pumps or Roots type blowers producing vacuum levels around – 30 kPa
The Steel Belt Filter (SBF) is a very economic alternative to Horizontal Belt Filters (HBF) for niche applications.
